LOGISTICS

The Renaissance is located at 1 W Wacker Drive.  The competition is hosted on the third floor at RAISED BAR.

​

Doors will open at 4:30pm and the competition is set to begin at 5:30pm.

​

Call time for all competitors is at 1pm.  Please be on time.

​

We will provide family meal at 3:30 for everyone and pre shift will be at 4pm sharp.

​

LOADING IN

​

• If you have a lot to load in, there is a loading dock at 1 W Lower Wacker Drive.  Arrangements must be made the day before to ensure someone can meet you down there.

• PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME FOR YOUR SCHEDULED ARRIVAL.

• Give yourself enough time for loading in, as it may take some time if there are other deliveries going on at the same time.

• If you choose to load in in the front, please be advised that the bellman will be helping you and a gratuity should be added.

• We will try to have the room set by Sunday and if you want to drop off your things at that time, someone will meet you there and ensure that it is safe.

PARKING

​

• Unfortunately, we cannot comp any valet services.  The best we can do is offer you a $13 parking voucher for the parking garage at Lake and Dearborn.

• Please find the manager on duty (who will be introduced to you) in order to receive your voucher

• WE RECOMMEND YOU GET IT SHORTLY AFTER ARRIVING.  While the event is going on and over, there's a lot of activity and it might be challenging tracking the right people down.  Please plan accordingly.

REFRIGERATORS & FREEZERS

​

• If you're using your own ice (that you have already declared in your submissions) you will be allotted some freezer space.

• If you require refrigeration for any of your syrups, you will be allowed some space in a cooler.  Please ensure that standard food safety labeling is applied to the anything you bring in:

• The Renaissance CANNOT hold onto any items over night.  Please make arrangements to take everything with you and plan accordingly.
